中澳媒体加强合作,共同推进两国关系

  中澳媒体合作项目签约仪式5月27日在澳大利亚第一大城市悉尼举行。中共中央政治局委员、中央书记处书记、中央宣传部部长刘奇葆和澳大利亚外交贸易部代理秘书长加里‧昆兰见证签约仪式。
  在签约仪式上,人民网总编辑余清楚与澳大利亚新闻频道首席执行官方安吉签署了人民网和澳大利亚新闻频道内容互换合作谅解备忘录,双方将在新闻内容互换、推出系列视频节目等领域展开合作。人民网总编辑余清楚还与青岛出版集团董事长孟鸣飞、澳大利亚新闻频道首席执行官方安吉和澳大利亚威尔顿国际传媒集团首席执行官哈罗德‧威尔顿签署了谅解备忘录,四方将共同打造“中国经济领军人物高端访谈”栏目。
  方安吉在接受人民日报记者采访时表示,澳大利亚与中国经贸关系日益密切,与人民网建立合作能让两国观众分享到澳中双边经贸往来中的精彩故事,为进一步促进两国关系贡献力量。澳中媒体加强合作,在两国关系发展中起到积极作用。
  新华通讯社副总编辑周宗敏和悉尼科技大学澳大利亚中国关系研究院院长鲍勃‧卡尔签署了新华通讯社与悉尼科技大学合作备忘录。中国日报社副总编辑康兵与费尔法克斯传媒集团董事总经理艾伦‧威廉姆斯签署了中国日报社与费尔法克斯传媒集团合作协议。中国国际广播电台大洋洲地区总站站长彭丽与环球凯歌国际传媒集团总裁姜兆庆签署了中国国际广播电台与环球凯歌国际传媒集团合作协议。青岛出版集团董事长孟鸣飞和澳大利亚威尔顿国际传媒集团首席执行官哈罗德‧威尔顿签署了《中国—新长征》阿拉伯语版出版协议。
  当天,中澳合作纪录片《改变世界的战争》首映式也在悉尼举行,该纪录片由中国中央电视台和澳大利亚野熊文化公司联合制作,是中澳双方首次合拍的世界反法西斯战争纪录片。

  Media cooperation highlights China-Australia ties

  China-Australia ties will be further intensified as their media cooperation increases following the signing of a series of agreements in Sydney on Friday.

Commi t tee and Ga r y Quinlan, Deputy Secret a r y of Depar tment of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Aust ralia,
witnessed the inking ceremony of the agreements.
  On behalf on their respective part, Yu Qingchu, Editorin-Chief of People's Daily Online and Angelos Frangopoulos,CEO of Aus t r al ian News Chan nel P t y Ltd, in ked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in information sharing and video programs.A quartet MoU was also signed by People's Daily Online,
  Australian News Channel Pty Ltd, Qingdao Publishing Group,and Australia-based media company Weldon International.The four corps will launch a high-end talk show on the Chinese economy.
  Frangopoulos, hailing business and trade as part of a trong and fundamental relationship between Australia and China, told the People』s Daily that he believed that media cooperation between both countries is very positive to the elationship.
  “Australian and Chinese media share a very positive relationship. We think the more we work together, the better the relationship between our two countries,” he added.
  Vice Editor-in-Chief Zhou Zongmin of the Xinhua News Agency also sealed a MoU enabling greater information exchange with Bob Carr, director of the Australia-China Relations Institute affiliated to the Sydney-based University of Technology.
  Other agreements also included one between China Daily and Fairfax Media Limited, as well as the one between China Radio International and Melbourne-based Global CAMG Media Group.
  Qingdao Publishing Group also reached a publishing agreement with Weldon International over the Arabic version of China: The New Long March, a book that portrays the count r y today through the eyes of a celebrated team of Chinese and international photographers after they revisited the original route of the Long March.
  "The War That Changed the World: The Making of a New China", a documentary exhibiting the true horrors of the Second World War co-produced by China and Australia also held its premiere on the same day.
  The documentary, created by China Central Television's(CCTV) and Australia's WildBear Entertainment, is also the first documentary on WW2 made by the two countries.
